PSLE Math Tuition (Pri 5-6)

For students aiming for AL1 to AL2

Helping students improve from AL5-AL3 to AL2-AL1
through stronger fundamentals and clearer problem-solving methods.

Small group classes (max 6 - 8 students) for close guidance

Why Capable AL3-AL5 Students Struggle to Improve

Many students can handle basic questions confidently, but lose the most marks when questions become longer or combine topics.

Common issues we see:
- Incomplete or unclear working
- Correct steps but poorly labelled
- Skipping steps too quickly
- Weak or unclear model drawing

Many longer exam questions become much easier when students know the right methods.

The issue is rarely ability — it's knowing the right methods.

What students need:

- Clear model drawing and explanation

- Consistent step-by-step habits

- Confidence in solving long word problems

At the AL1-2 level,

small mistakes make the difference.

How We Build Consistent AL1-AL2 Performance

1. Build Strong Concept Foundations

Students build strong understanding of key PSLE topics before tackling more complex questions.

This ensures they can apply concepts confidently across different types of PSLE questions.

3. Develop Clear Model Drawing and Working

Students are trained to represent problems clearly using models and organised working.

This helps them visualise complex problems clearly and solve them accurately.

2. Teach PSLE Question Types

Students learn how to recognise common PSLE question types and apply the correct methods.

This reduces confusion and helps them solve questions more efficiently.

4. Correct Mistakes with Targeted Feedback

Students receive targeted feedback on their working — not just the final answer.

This helps correct weak habits early and builds consistency over time.

AL1-AL2 is very achievable —
students need the right methods and clear working.
